ဩစတေးလျနိုင်ငံရှိ Australian Karen Organisation (AKO NSW) မှ ကြီးမှူးကျင်းပသည့် “ကရင်ပြည်လူသားစာနာမှု ရန်ပုံငွေပွဲ” ကို ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် Doonside Centre ၌ အောင်မြင်စွာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ စုစုပေါင်း အလှူငွေ ဩစတေးလျဒေါ်လာ ၆,၁၀၀ ရရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

အဆိုပါ ရန်ပုံငွေပွဲမှ ရရှိလာသော ငွေကြေးများကို မြေပြင်တွင် အမှန်တကယ် အကူအညီလိုအပ်နေသည့် နေရာ (၃) ခုသို့ အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ခွဲဝေပို့ဆောင်ပေးခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်သည် –

၁။ မူတြော်ခရိုင် (ဖာပွန်): စစ်ကောင်စီ၏ လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုကြောင့် လုံးဝပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ရသည့် သံလွင်မြစ်ကမ်းဘေးရှိ ဆေးရုံ ပြန်လည်တည်ဆောက်ရေးအတွက်။

၂။ ဒူးသထူခရိုင် (သထုံ): လေးကေစခန်း ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရှိ စစ်ဘေးရှောင်ပြည်သူများအတွက်။

၃။ ခလယ်လွီထူခရိုင် (ညောင်လေးပင်): ကျောက်ကြီးဒေသအတွင်းရှိ စစ်ဘေးရှောင် ပြည်သူများအတွက်။

AKO NSW အမှုဆောင်ကော်မတီက ယခုရန်ပုံငွေပွဲတွင် ပါဝင်ကူညီခဲ့ကြသည့် ထောက်ပို့ဈေးဆိုင်များ၊ အနုပညာရှင်များနှင့် လာရောက်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ကြသူ တစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီကို အထူးပင် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ကမ္ဘာအနှံ့ရှိ ကရင်လူမျိုးများ၏ စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်မှုနှင့် မိခင်မြေအပေါ် ထားရှိသော စေတနာများသည် မြေပြင်ရှိ ဒုက္ခသည်များအတွက် ကြီးမားသော ခွန်အားဖြစ်စေခဲ့ပါသည်။

AKO Fundraiser in Australia Raises Over $6,100 for Karen State Humanitarian Aid and Airstrike-Damaged Hospital

The Australian Karen Organisation (AKO NSW) successfully hosted a humanitarian fundraising event for Karen State on April 18, 2026, at the Doonside Centre. The event raised a total of $6,100 AUD to support those affected by the ongoing conflict in Myanmar.

The proceeds from the fundraiser have been allocated and sent to three critical areas in need:

1. Mutraw (Papun) District: For the reconstruction of a hospital on the Salween riverbank that was completely destroyed by recent junta airstrikes.

2. Doo Tha Htoo (Thaton) District: Providing aid to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) around the Lay Kay camp area.

3. Kler Lwee Htoo (Nyaunglebin) District: Supporting IDPs in the Kyaukkyi region.

The AKO NSW Executive Committee expressed its deepest gratitude to the food stall owners, volunteers, and every donor who attended the event. Their solidarity and contributions provide vital support to the Karen people struggling on the ground.

This event once again demonstrates the powerful spirit of the Karen diaspora in standing with their homeland during these challenging times.
